Introduction
Alphaworks Pty Ltd publishes online and mobile products and services, including websites, mobile applications, and platform services (collectively, the “Services”). In this policy, “AW” refers to Alphaworks Pty Ltd. We may also refer to AW as “We” or “Us”. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and disclose it, and how you can access or correct it, consistent with our obligations under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
When you use an AW service, you agree to be bound by all of the terms, conditions and restrictions in this Privacy Policy. Please read them carefully.

Information We Collect About You
Alphaworks does its best to minimise the amount of data we collect. In fact, only selected applications allow for the collection of high scores and a player’s name (limited to 3 characters) or initials. Within these applications, you the player have the ability to not submit the score nor player name/initials. High scores and player names/initials are made visible to other players of the same application across Apple App Store, Google Play, Windows Store and Amazon Appstore.
In addition, the app stores and platforms through which our Services are distributed (Apple App Store, Google Play, Windows Store and Amazon Appstore) may automatically collect technical information such as your device identifier, device type, operating system version, app version, and crash or basic usage/analytics data, and may provide us with aggregated or de-identified versions of this information. We do not require you to create an account or provide your name, email address or other directly identifying information to use our Services.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information described above only to operate and improve the Services — including to display high score tables and player names/initials within the relevant application, to diagnose and fix technical issues, and to understand aggregate usage of our Services.
Cookies and Tracking
We do not use cookies or any other tracking technologies on our websites or within our Services, and we do not track your activity across other websites or apps.
Sale or Distribution of Information
Alphaworks does not sell or give away high scores or player initials and will not make these available to 3rd parties for any purpose outside their intended purpose, which is to be displayed within the mobile application as part of a top 10 high score table.
Children’s Privacy
Our Services, including high score and leaderboard features, may be accessed by children. We do not knowingly collect more personal information from children than is necessary to provide these features — limited to a player name or initials of up to 3 characters, which a player may choose not to submit. We do not require children to create an account or provide contact details to use our Services. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has submitted personal information you would like removed, please contact us using the details below and we will take reasonable steps to remove it.
Data Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the personal information we hold from misuse, interference and loss, and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Because no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data Retention
We retain high scores and player names/initials only for as long as needed to provide the leaderboard features described in this policy, or until you request their removal (where technically possible) or the relevant application is discontinued.
Your Privacy Rights
You may request access to, or correction of, any personal information we hold about you, and you may raise concerns about how we have handled your personal information, by contacting us using the details below. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at www.oaic.gov.au.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this policy and, where appropriate, provide additional notice within the Services. Your continued use of the Services after any changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
