In just a little over a week Sky Invaders for the iPAD has hit 600 downloads from the App Store and received an awesome review.
Good, classic fun! ★★★★★
Obviously inspired by Space Invaders, this is a fun game which is good for a casual player. You can only fire short bursts of about 5 or so shots before your guns need a moment to recharge, so you have to work out where to lead your shots. Timed properly you can do some pretty serious damage to the invaders with these bursts. There’s a slight delay with the reaction to the controls, so you have to manage your movement as well, which does lead to a more challenging game than I would expect from such a simple game. Well executed and I will keep playing it.
Good news this morning, Apple have approved Sky Invaders and it is now made available on the App Store. So we’ll be back to work improving game play and a new challenge mode which didn’t make to the version 1.0.0
So if you download and play Sky Invaders please let us know what you think.
During September we made great progress on our first iPAD title called Sky Invaders. Being our first iOS title we have a little to learn but feel the end result will be well worth playing.
To celebrate the life and times of Neil Armstrong we decided to re-release our remake of the classic Lunar Lander. Originally released in 2009 on the 40th anniversary of the moon landing.
